Murchison Falls National Park is the most popular safari destination as well as the largest national park in Uganda, covering an area in 3,840 sq km. The park takes pride in its diversity of habitats that include wetlands, woodland, acacia savannah, grasslands and borasus palms which support a wide range of wildlife including more than 451 bird species including the prehistoric shoebill stork and 87 species of large mammals including four of the Big Five seen all year round.
With a visit at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a mind-blowing encounter with rhinos on a rhino tracking experience, your Big Five Safari will be complete.

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After a delicious early breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe, your safari driver guide will pick you up and start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park found in North Eastern Uganda. Along the way you will make a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – home to rhinos for a rhino tracking experience, have lunch in Masindi and later continue to the park.
On arriving in Murchison Falls National Park, you will head to your lodge for check-in and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive, Launch Cruise – Optional Hike to Top of Murchison Falls
Have an early day start with you a delicious breakfast, then head out for a morning game drive to see the various wildlife as you explore the various habitats. Some of the animals you will spot include lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, among many others. Return to your lodge for freshening up and enjoy lunch.
After lunch you will head out on a 2 hours Launch Cruise on the River Nile to the bottom of the Murchison Falls, on this cruise you will be able to the might falls in their glory from the bottom. You will also encounter various wildlife along the river banks such as the giant Nile crocodiles, large numbers of hippos, birds and elephants among others. There is also an option of hiking to the top of the waterfalls where you will get a chance to see the waterfall from another view, the walk takes about 45 minutes giving you a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the unique vegetation.

Day 3: Departure
Today marks the final day of your Murchison Falls Safari. After breakfast you will enjoy a final game drive in the park seeing more animals before beginning your drive back to Kampala where you will arrive late in afternoon.
Your guide will drop you off either at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or at your booked hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
