Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

On landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and be transferred to your hotel for an evening of rest. Depending on your arrival, a visit to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Centre can be arranged, for close encounter with giraffes and rhinos.

Days 2-5: Laikipia – Lewa Conservancy

Explore and discover the high plains of Laikipia, a 65,000 acre protected wilderness are found in northern Kenya. This region is a conservation success story and one of the best places in Kenya to see both black and white rhinos in the wild.

During your Laikipia Safari you will join the Samburu people for a camelback safari across the landscape. Go on game drives on which you will spit giraffes, ostriches, gerenuk, a long-necked antelope (only found in this part of East Africa) and the rare Grevy’s zebra among others.

Also, Laikipia is one of the few places in Kenya where you can see the endangered African wild dogs, making it a truly special destination for conservation – focused safaris.

Days 6-7: Masai Mara National Reserve

Explore the endless plains of Masai Mara, the most iconic national reserve in Kenya offering unparalleled Big Five game viewing across vast, open plains. This classic game reserve provides year –round wildlife sightings, so during the game drives, expect to see lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, wildebeests, gazelles, giraffes, African wild dogs among others.

From July to October, the Great Migration moves into the Masai Mara. Over 2 million wildebeests and zebras together with gazelles cross from the Serengeti creating dramatic river crossings and intense predator.

Your day starts with a hot air balloon safari at sunrise, enjoy aerial views of the reserve’s stunning landscape and animals, concluded the experience is a champagne breakfast in the bush. Visit a local Maasai village for cultural experience on which you will learn about their heritage and way of life.

Days 9&10: Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park also known as the Serengeti is the oldest national park in Tanzania and one of the most famous reserve in Africa, offering world-class wildlife experience all year round. The park is famous for the Great Migration, when over 1.5 million wildebeest, 400,000 zebras, and 200,000 gazelles move through the plains.

The magic of the Serengeti goes far beyond the migration. Big cat sightings are common all year round, as lions are often seen resting on rocky outcrops, leopards hiding in the woodlands and cheetahs racing across the grasslands. Large herds of elephants roam the savannah and giraffes often appear on the horizon, adding to the timeless scenery.

Wildlife in Ngorongoro Crater

Day 11: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Explore Ngorongoro Crater – one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, an exciting safari experience. Often called the Garden of Eden, this ancient volcanic caldera is over three million years old. Its fertile soils on the crater floor is home to resident lion prides, large elephants, bulls and clans of spotted hyenas.

Ngorongoro Crater’s birdlife is just as impressive. Flamingoes and pelicans gather at Lake Magadi, and the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying often spotted in the open grasslands. If you are interested in more adventure, take a guided hike to the rim of the Olmoti or Empakai Crater and enjoy sweeping views across the highlands.
