Essential Documents Needed for Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

2. Valid Passport

Carry a valid passport on you for your gorilla trekking in Uganda. The passport should have at least six months of validity beyond your planned departure date from Uganda and have at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.

The passport serves as your primary form of identification throughout your journey, especially when checking in for flights or accessing accommodations. Also, carry your passport with you on the day of gorilla trekking as it is needed by the rangers to compare the information on the permit with the one on the passport to ensure that there is no illegal resale of the gorilla permits and that the person tracking is the one supposed to track. 3. Uganda Visa

5. Health and Vaccination Proof
