Essential Documents Needed for Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

Valid Passport
Carry a valid passport on you for your gorilla trekking in Uganda. The passport should have at least six months of validity beyond your planned departure date from Uganda and have at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.

The passport serves as your primary form of identification throughout your journey, especially when checking in for flights or accessing accommodations. Also, carry your passport with you on the day of gorilla trekking as it is needed by the rangers to compare the information on the permit with the one on the passport to ensure that there is no illegal resale of the gorilla permits and that the person tracking is the one supposed to track. Uganda Visa
Most travelers on a safari to Uganda require a tourist visa, there are several options of tourist visas to Uganda including a single-entry visa, a multiple-entry visa and an East Africa Visa granting you access to Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda.
One can obtain a Uganda either online or upon arrival depending on your nationality (country of origin).
The online application process is straightforward, fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents including a passport photo, a copy of your passport bio-date page, and the yellow fever vaccination certificate.
